13th Hands-On Workshop

Dear Colleagues,

I cordially invite you to the 13th Hands-On Workshop on endoscopic transnasal approaches to the skull base.


The main conceptual features of the course are:
 

  • Lectures concentrating on endoscopic anatomy of the paranasal sinuses and the skull base, endoscopic pituitary surgery and extended endoscopic skull base surgery
  • Technical prerequisites
  • Hands-on dissection on fresh specimens including the paranasal sinuses, intrasellar space, cavernous sinus, supra- and retrosellar space with full endoscopic equipment
  • Demonstration of neuronavigation in pure endoscopic skull base surgery
  • Live surgery with pre- and postoperative discussion of the cases

Throughout the workshop, you will be guided by a team of specialists from the fields of anatomy, neurosurgery and ENT.


Trier, located in a beautiful landscape and being the oldest town in Germany, is the venue of the workshop.
